ABOUT ME
I’ve been practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine for nearly three decades, working primarily with fertility, pain, and complex, long-standing conditions. My approach is steady and collaborative, shaped by classical training and years of clinical experience.
Rather than imposing a predetermined treatment plan, care unfolds through careful listening to symptoms, history, and the body’s own responses over time. In some cases, relief is immediate; in others, healing requires steadier, ongoing support. The work here is guided by discernment, creating the conditions for regulation, coherence, and lasting change.
My role is not to push the body toward an outcome, but to support it as it moves safely through moments of change, allowing regulation, clarity, and responsiveness to emerge.
Listening Beyond the Visible
My work is informed not only by clinical training and experience, but by a way of listening that attends to what is not immediately apparent. In Chinese medicine, the unseen is not abstrac, it is felt through rhythm, temperature, movement, tension, and response. The pulse, in particular, carries information that often precedes words or symptoms, revealing how the body is adapting, compensating, or holding.
This way of listening is both learned and inherited. It comes from lineage-based medicine that understands the body as a living system shaped by physiology, emotion, memory, and environment. The pulse reflects these layers continuously, offering a direct conversation with the body’s internal state.
Before studying medicine, I trained as a fine artist, learning to listen through form, texture, rhythm, and space. That way of seeing, attentive, relational, and patient, continues to shape how I read the pulse and work with what is present but not always visible.
Rather than approaching the body as something to correct, I work with it as an intelligence to be engaged. Change unfolds through recognition, when what has been held, overlooked, or unheard is allowed to respond in its own time.
I received my training at Meiji College of Oriental Medicine (now American Integrative Medicine College), where I earned my master’s degree, and have been in clinical practice for over 27 years. My work integrates acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and supportive lifestyle guidance, informed by sustained clinical observation and experience over time.
